AN OVERVIEW
Reliance Power’s 4000 MW Sasan Plant is an ultra mega power project in Madhya Pradesh.
We have been commission to carry out the earth work for area grading at the plant. The first part of the project requires area-leveling. It sounds easy but is, in fact, difficult and requires enormous amount of planning: both man and machinery management.
The job was on a fast track to completion: in fact, ahead of the schedule. However, there were changes in plant design.
Now, rework is in progress and expected to be completed in time. The job started in November 2009.
